3 Beauty Products You Shouldn't Share/Borrow

Before swapping skincare products with a friend, remember these 3 skincare sharing rules. (1) Don't borrow prescription products. Prescription-strength skin care can be more potent than your personal needs and cause your skin to become more sensitive or damaged. (2) Avoid sharing jar-based cosmetics or skincare products. This is especially true if you or your friend uses their fingers to scoop out the product, which can leave behind contaminants like bacteria and even skin cells. (3) Say "no" to sharing makeup brushes, reusable sponges, and facial cloths. They can harbor bacteria from the skin's surface and may irritate the skin.
