Blackheads
Blackheads appear when a hair follicle gets clogged with excess sebum and debris. Open clogged follicles have a dark appearance due to oxidation of the clogged material. Home treatments are a common way to treat blackheads. You can use a cleansing formula that dissolves the excess sebum and debris collected in the pores. Or a facial pack that targets removing impurities from one's pores. However, avoid aggressively forcing the removal of the dark residue of a blackhead. Doing so will stretch and harm the skin unnecessarily. If you encounter a particularly stubborn blackhead, visit a beauty salon or a dermatologist's office for some quick, safe relief.
