It popped! While we don't advise popping pimples, sometimes it happens. What to do next? Here's how to care for a spot that's popped: (1) Wash gently and thoroughly. You don't want the bacteria to spread around. (2) Avoid using products that might be overly harsh while the skin is healing. Your gentlest cleanser and a light moisturizer will do for now. (3) Once the skin has healed over, apply a spot serum that lightens discolored skin, and be sure to use sunscreen when heading out.
