Breathing Techniques

Previously, we talked about the benefits of breathing for vibrant skin. Here are 2 techniques to get you started. (1) In the morning: sitting in a comfortable position, inhale deeply through the nose. Next, exhale through the mouth quickly and repeat five times. (2) In the evening: lie down on your mattress and focus on inhaling and exhaling through the nose only. Nasal breathing can extract a greater amount of oxygen and help you feel more relaxed. Exhale for two counts longer than your inhale and repeat for 5 to 10 minutes. After each deep breathing session, take a moment to pay attention to how you feel.
