Does what you digest really affect your skin? It’s an age-old question with no authoritative consensus. Many studies can only detect association, not causation, of acne and food. This means that although people with adult acne tend to consume more fatty and sugary foods, this correlation can’t prove that diet alone causes acne. So while it’s likely that no single diet will guarantee clear skin, moderation of unhealthy foods is still advised for better health.
