Face Mites
This might make your skin crawl, but thousands of eight-legged microscopic creatures are crawling on your skin right now. They are called face mites or Demodex Mites, and they thrive on human skin. Admittedly, it’s not a pleasant thought, but Demodex Mites are pretty harmless. They only become a problem when they overpopulate, causing red, itchy, bumpy skin. Face mites thrive in oily areas of the face like the t-zone, but with a lifespan of 2 weeks, they are relatively easy to treat at home with a proper skincare regimen.
