Houseplants & Beauty
A few well-placed houseplants can transform a room into a relaxing, green oasis. But beyond their aesthetic appeal, houseplants are excellent for our overall health. A recent study suggests that plants with higher transpiration rates may add enough moisture to the air to combat dry skin. These plants can also purify and remove toxins from indoor air and reduce formaldehyde levels and toxic compounds found in everyday household items. Plants with high transpiration are snake plants, vining plants, areca palms, peace lilies, and Boston ferns.
