Oily Skin & Moisturizer
A question we hear a lot is, "Do you need to use a moisturizer if you have oily skin?" In most cases, the answer is yes. Here's why: The skin responds to a lack of moisture by producing more sebum. So skipping the moisturizer can result in oilier skin, not less—which can then go on to exacerbate oily skin issues, such as pimples and other blemishes. Naturally, you want to avoid moisturizers that will clog your follicles. Still, there are plenty of lightweight formulas that are formulated for oily skin that can keep your skin well-balanced and hydrated while also keeping skin from appearing greasy.
