Skin Icing
What is skin icing? It's been trending on various social media channels, so perhaps you've seen it around. But if you're new to the trend, skin icing is about using cold treatments to reduce puffiness, swelling, or other visible signs of inflammation. You can get a professional skin icing treatment at a beauty salon, and these typically consist of dry ice or liquid nitrogen. But the more common variety of skin icing is done by applying ice cubes, or ice rollers, to the face. Ice rollers are a new beauty tool that doubles as a face massager + cold application device. While there aren't studies to back up this trend's efficacy, personal anecdotal evidence is everywhere, and at least it's a trend safe enough to try out for yourself.
