Skin pH Matters
We’ve covered this before, but just as a reminder about why skin pH matters: The optimal pH value of the skin is between 4.7 and 5.75. A pH of 7 is considered neutral, and anything below that is acidic and above it is alkaline. When this natural balance is disturbed, your skin is less resilient and susceptible to skin-related problems. A healthy lifestyle and a good skincare routine can help your skin maintain optimum pH levels and maintain its protective barrier.
