Skin Self-Exam
Skin cancer remains a risk despite how well you care for your skin, and the earlier it's discovered, the more likely treatment will be effective. That's why regular skin self-examinations are important. When doing skin checks, look for anything that looks or feels new or unusual. Areas that people often forget to check are the underarms, between the fingers and toes, the soles of your feet, and under the breast. If you find anything that looks concerning, make an appointment to see your doctor right away.
