Storing Skincare Products 101
Storing your beauty products in your bathroom isn’t advised. Here’s why. Your bathroom, and particularly your bathroom shelf, is often exposed to heat, humidity, and light. These elements can degrade your skincare products and even cause changes to their texture or smell. Another downside of storing your products in a steamy bathroom is that it raises the risks of condensation seeping in, causing mold or bacteria to grow. So instead, the ideal location for storing your skincare products is somewhere cool and dark, like a linen closet or a beauty fridge.
