Wash-Off Masks
As the name describes, wash-off masks are face masks designed to be removed from the skin after a set amount of time. Although "wash-off" may insinuate that you need a cleanser to remove the mask, water is really the only thing you need to clear the product from the skin. If this is the first time you are dipping your toes into the world of wash-off masks, here's what you should know: (1) You can multi-mask. If you have combination skin, you can target individual areas with multiple masks to suit your needs. For example, you can use a sebum-controlling clay mask on your T-zone and a hydrating gel mask on your cheeks. (2) Certain masks can double as a cleanser or exfoliator. (3) You don't need to cleanse after masking, but you should always moisturize your skin.
