NEODERMA LUXURY SKINCARE GROUP SIGNS EXCLUSIVE PARTNER FOR MAINLAND CHINA

AMSTERDAM. JULY 2022.—NEODERMA, a pioneer in the world’s first Airless Luxury Skincare line, has signed an exclusive deal with S’Young, Mainland China’s No.1 online cosmetic retailer. 


S’Young was founded in 2003 and boasts multiple awards in the beauty industry, including Outstanding Asian Import Agent and the Tmall Global Outstanding Agent award. 


The sales value of cosmetics in China rose to 402.6 billion CNY in 2021, according to Statista.com, making China one of the top beauty and personal care product markets in the world. 


China’s market trends in the cosmetic industry are expected to maintain their upward climb, bolstered by an uptick of working women and an increasing demand for premium products which drive this growth. Notably, the report showed that the cosmetics and toiletries market was dominated by skincare products (51%), and household spending on personal care products is projected to grow 6.3% by 2025. 


As an online company growing in tandem with the e-commerce environment in China, S’Young has established 100% coverage of online channels, offers complete solutions for brands in the Chinese market, and is the first e-commerce-based beauty company to be listed in the country.

NEODERMA China will be based in Shanghai, and its distributor network will include TMALL Global, VIP International, JD Worldwide, Kaola, and Little Red Book. Other distribution channels include live streaming sales, sub-distributors in the e-commerce platform, department stores, boutique chains, high-end beauty collections, and franchised luxury cosmetic stores. 


With premium skincare products growing in popularity among Chinese consumers, NEODERMA China anticipates this will extend to the brand’s luxury skincare formulas and products, such as Blue Blood Youth Infuser and Sunscreens, and its Skin Energizing Toning-Lotions with Fusion-Biotics© technology, Neo-White Face Serum, masks, and Cleansers targeted to sensitive skin.
