Perfume & Acne?

Although there is no conclusive evidence that suggests your perfume is causing your acne, if you have sensitive skin, there is a chance that certain substances in perfumes could be the culprit. Quite often, perfumes created with synthetic fragrances and oils can cause clogged pores. If you’ve experienced painful bumps, acne, or irritations to your face and neck after using perfumes, you likely have sensitive skin and should avoid products with fragrances.

However, by changing where you apply your fragrance, you can avoid the worst of breakouts and still enjoy your signature scent. Instead of spraying perfume directly on your neck and chest, try the wrists, hair, and the back of your arms.
