Sunscreen / Moisturizer, Which Comes First?
Sunscreen is an essential part of any skincare routine. But figuring out when to apply it can be complicated. But to help you get the whole picture, you need to understand how physical and chemical SPF works. Physical sunscreens create a barrier on your skin to block the sun's harmful rays. On the other hand, chemical sunscreens contain active ingredients that absorb the sun's rays and release them through heat. So, suppose you're using chemical sunscreen. In that case, you should apply it before moisturizer so that it can get absorbed into the skin. And if you're using a physical sunscreen, you should apply it after your morning skincare routine but before makeup.
